Cooperative platforms maximize cooperation by using workflows to define and automate the processes by which we collaborate. Cooperation maximizes benefit to the parties cooperating by reducing costs, and increasing the probability of whatever outcomes the parties are cooperating towards. By definition, parties in cooperation are incentivized to cooperate towards outcomes they perceive to be in their own best interest. Therefore cooperation increases the likelihood of positive outcomes.
Modes of cooperation can be seen as an Nth order barter of equal value in a network, an barter of value by N parties in a hierarchy for value of that cumulative worth in return, or a hybrid of these two. Through defining patterns of cooperation, cooperative platforms can algorithmically search for synergies through cooperation even where too complex for humans to detect unaided.
